Vehicle production this week in the U.S., Canada and Mexico is expected to hit an estimated 352,112 units, up from the 123,166 cars and trucks built last week when several manufacturers were closed for summer shutdowns and model year changeovers, according to Ward's Automotive Reports. Including this week's estimates, calendar year North American output now totals 10,260,007 vehicles, up 5.3 percent from like-1999's pace.
