GERMANY: VW announces 1 billion euro investment
German automaker Volkswagen over the next five years will invest around 1 billion euros in two subsidiaries, Zwickau-Mosel and Chemnitz, the company said. Zwickau-Mosel will make chassis for luxury models manufactured in Volkswagen's Dresden plant, while daily Golf and Passat model production volume will remain unchanged at 1,150 units.
