EXCLUSIVE: VENEZUELA: Vehicles sales up 45.5% y/y in January
Vehicles sales in Venezuela rose 45.5 percent last month in comparison with a year earlier, reports Rogério Louro Alves. Automakers sold 12,970 cars compared with 8,900 units in January 2000. Locally-produced cars accounted for 7,750 units last month. The Chevrolet Corsa led the market with 1,961 units sold.
