Automotive Resources Asia Ltd. (ARA) have reported that motor vehicle sales in Southeast Asia's top four markets -- Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines rose 31 percent in January from a year. The region#;s sales totalled 92,740 units in January, up from 70,929 in the same month last year.  Malaysia rose 47 percent to 39,646 units and Thailand jumped 45 percent to 24,727 units. Indonesia sold 22,859 units, an increase of 8 percent from the 21,117 vehicles sold the previous year.
