POLAND :TRW to Build New Plant in Poland
TRW today announced it will construct a new $7 million, 7,000 square meter manufacturing facility for braking actuation units in Gliwice, Poland. TRW signed a land purchase deed and expects to begin construction in June 2000. The new facility marks an important stage in the expansion of TRW's operations in Poland. TRW currently has three plants in Poland, one in Czestochowa that manufactures seat belts and airbags, one in Czechowice-Dziedzice that produces steering gears and a third plant in Warsaw that makes automotive electronics components.
