USA: TransPro, Inc. Reports Second Quarter Results
TransPro, Inc. (NYSE:TPR - news) today announced results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2000. Sales from continuing operations for the second quarter of 2000 declined 2% to $53,839,000, compared with sales from continuing operations of $54,670,000 in the second quarter of 1999. Income from continuing operations before interest and taxes was $2,511,000 for the second quarter of 2000, compared with $4,045,000 in the second quarter of 1999, excluding plant closure costs of $325,000 related to the closure of the Company's Atlanta, Georgia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania condenser manufacturing plants.
