RUSSIA: Toyota, Suzuki, GAZ boost volumes in 2002
Toyota increased its sales in Russia by 93% year-on-year in 2002. The company sold 8,630 vehicles through its official dealers and authorised service stations last year, against 4,461 in 2001. The Corolla was the best-selling model with 2,319 cars sold. It was followed by the Camry with sales of 1,956, compared to 325 in the previous year. The Land Cruiser 100 off-roader was the third with sales of 1,635 (1,561 in 2001).
