SPAIN: Three Shift Working Follows Strong Demand For Spanish-Built Nissans
Nissan Motor Iberica, (NMISA) will create up to 300 new manufacturing jobs by introducing a third shift at its vehicle assembly operation in Barcelona, Spain. Strong demand for NMISA-built models, including the newly-introduced Almera Tino, Nissan's first European-built compact MPV and Nissan's highly successful Terrano ll, have pushed the plant beyond full capacity.
