Suzuki fired another salvo in its ongoing partnership tussle with Volkswagen by terming the latter's response as being "not worthy of comment", reported Bloomberg quoting Hideki Taguchi, a Suzuki spokesman.

The comment was made after the German carmaker responded to Suzuki's demand that VW retract its allegation of breach of its partnership agreement.

"The facts haven't changed for Volkswagen," Bloomberg quoted Michael Brendel, a VW spokesman, as saying.

Suzuki, which currently holds a 1.49% stake in VW, has announced its intention to sell its stake if its partnership with VW breaks down.

VW, on the other hand, said its 19.9% stake in Suzuki would not be affected.
