JAPAN: Subaru hybrid 'by 2006'
Fuji Heavy Industries, the maker of Subaru cars, plans to start selling environmentally friendly hybrid vehicles by 2006, according to a report carried by Reuters. No further details have been given, but the company's president Kyoji Takenaka, is reported to have let slip the timetable at a press conference.
