SsangYong Motor said Tivoli global launch and TV campaigns would give it a boost across Europe.

In May, SsangYong Sahsuvaroglu, the official distributor in Turkey, opened a showroom in Ankara, starting Tivoli sales.

At the beginning of June, SsangYong Motor Middle Europe launched the new model at an event in Brussels.

Meanwhile, SsangYong Motor started a TV campaign across Europe from mid June on the Eurosport TV channel.

The commercial was shot in Barcelona, Spain, and will air in 54 European countries for three months on TV, online and mobile.

SsangYong UK launched a national TV campaign - Tivoli-Ilovit - on ITV and ESPN TV channels.

Johng-Sik Choi, CEO of SsangYong Motor, said: "Tivoli has been leading a compact SUV market since its launch in Korea and is getting a lot of attention in overseas markets. Along with the launch in local markets, we will continue aggressive marketing campaigns and new market development to increase export sales as well as expand our presence in the European SUV market."
