JAPAN: Smart Car experiments to start
The Japanese transport ministry will soon start a study on practical use of the Smart Car, reports Japanese Automobile News. The Smart Car is equipped with next-generation safety systems, developed by the ministry and automakers, designed to transmit information about a variety of road conditions from roadside computers to drivers.
