CZECH REPUBLIC: Skoda expects to hit 10,000 sales in Russia this year
Interfax reports that Skoda plans to sell over 10,000 cars in Russia this year, up from 8,391 units in 2001. Skoda sold 5,065 cars in Russia in the first half of this year, a 70% gain on last year. The company reports that the Octavia model is proving very popular in Russia and it launched the Superb model onto the market last month.
