CZECH REPUBLIC/UKRAINE: Skoda adds Fabia to Ukrainian assembly operations
Interfax reports that Ukrainian carmaker Evrokar plans to start producing Skoda Fabia cars early in June. Evrokar currently assembles Skoda Octavia cars. Interfax says that Evrokar plans to increase production to 45,000 cars per year in 2003-2004 after implementing the second phase of its investment project. The first phase of the project will allow production of up to 15,000 cars a year.
