UK: Siemens Datatrak plans congestion charging 'watchbox' for fleet managers
Siemens Datatrak has announced a new facility to help fleet managers and their companies control costs associated with the London Congestion Charging Scheme planned for February 2003. A special 'polygon' watchbox, which exactly matches the geography of the Transport for London scheme, will provide reports to show which vehicles have entered the Congestion Area. This will enable freight, logistics and service management companies to prove the number of trips within the Congestion Area, minimise paperwork and invoice accordingly.
