Volkswagen's Spanish arm Seat will show its production-ready Altea minivan at next month's Frankfurt motor show ahead of launch in 2004. The Altea is the first Seat line developed within the new Audi Brand Group created in early 2002. Seat calls the sporty monospace design an MSV, for Multi Sport Vehicle. It has 2+2 seating (four individual seats), an aerodynamic silhouette and the show car also has a compact, lowered five-door chassis, and detailing such as 19 inch rims with low profile tyres, and brake components visible through the wheel spokes.
