US: Ricardo rejigs senior management

Automotive engineering and technology specialist Ricardo has made three high-level appointments.

Former vice president of finance at Ricardo Inc, Kent Niederhofer became president from 1 January while roll-formed steel products company Noble International CFO Jim Ayer replaced Niederhofer.

The previous head of business development at AVL Powertrain Engineering, Andrew Smart, has also joined Ricardo in a similar position.

Ricardo Inc is the US subsidiary of UK-based Ricardo plc.
