EXCLUSIVE: BRAZIL: Renault plans to hike exports from 4% to 40% in four years
Due to falling sales in Brazil, Renault do Brasil is looking for new markets to sell its locally produced vehicles, writes Rogério Louro. Renault recently said that in four years it expects exports to account for 40% of all Brazilian production. So far in 2002 only 4% of locally made vehicles were exported.
