USA: Renault aims to speed delivery, slash inventory
DETROIT, Jan 9 (Reuters) - French mass car manufacturer Renault SA said it expects to be able to speed up vehicle deliveries to customers and slash inventories to 30 days of supply by the end of 2001. In an interview at the Detroit car show, Louis Schweitzer, president of Renault, said European car market sales will grow in 2001, allowing the company to make sales and earnings progress.
