FRANCE: Renault '09 sales slip 3.1%

Renault on Thursday reported 2009 sales dropped 3.1% year on year to 2.3m vehicles.

The automaker noted its market share grew fractionally from 3.6% to 3.7% in a global market off 4.7%.

It said would aim for more market share gain this year but warned the European market could shrink again between 8% and 10% this year, AFP reported.
