The British motorsport and automotive technology group Prodrive has purchased all shares in the Tickford group to forming a business worth $US130 million. Tickford has operations in England and the United States and is a joint venture partner in Tickford Vehicle Engineering (TVE) in Melbourne, Australia, which produces sports variants of Ford's locally-made cars and converts American Mustangs to right-hand drive.
