VENEZUELA: Political crisis causes vehicle sales to crash in January
The huge political crisis in Venezuela decimated its automotive market in January. Last month, the automakers sold 3,700 vehicles in the country according to the Venezuela Automotive Chamber (Cavenez). This result represented a decrease of 81.4 percent compared with the 19,951 units sold in January 2002.
