UK: Peugeot`s Ryton plant set to strike July 27th.
Around three thousand workers at PSA Peugeot Citroen`s Ryton plant in the UK, are set to strike on July 27th unless working hours are cut. An all-out strike at the Coventry site, starting August 21st , is planned if no agreement has been reached by then, according to the TGWU. The company has agreed to shorten the working week from 39 to 36.75 hours, but workers are demanding a 35-hour week.
