Reports in British media on Friday say Peugeot has recalled up to 280,000 right hand drive 206 models built in Coventry due to a possible fault in the braking system. One such report, in the Coventry Evening Telegraph, said the firm is writing to owners of right-hand drive 206 models suggesting drivers make an appointment with an authorised service dealer to have a brake pedal pin replaced. Another report said that, if the pin failed, the pedal would be disconnected from the brake system thought the chance of that happening was slim.
