MEXICO: Nissan marketing chief becomes CEO
Nissan Mexicana has named Shoichi Miyatani its new CEO.
The Latin America News Digest said Miyatani replaced Hiroshi Yoshioka who was CEO for six years and worked for the Mexican Nissan unit for 19 years.
He will now return to Japan to work in an unspecified Japanese unit of the automaker.
Miyatani arrived at Nissan Mexicana in 1979 and has been vice president of sales and marketing since April 2004.
