EXCLUSIVE: BRAZIL: Nissan launches locally made diesel Xterra SUV
Nissan do Brasil will next week start to sell the Xterra SUV, its second vehicle produced in Brazil. The model is made in the Renault-Nissan Alliance commercial vehicles and pick-up plant in São José dos Pinhais city, in Paraná state, writes Rogério Louro. The Brazilian-made Nissan Xterra is essentially the same design as the model produced in the United States, but has a locally-made MWM 132bhp 2.8-litre turbodiesel engine - the US models have petrol engines.
