Many of the cars on show at the opening of the Geneva Motor Show this week were as seductive as ever (yes, I'll take that Alfa Romeo Spider home with me if that's okay). Glitz and optimism were not exactly in short supply and the choreographed presentations to show the industry's latest products were the usual slick affairs.
