FRANCE: New car sales up 2% in September (inc. data)
The French new car market expanded by 2% in September to stand at 153,151 units, according to statistics released by the French auto industry trade association, the CCFA. The September growth represents the fifth month in the last six in which the market has grown, but sources report that the figure has been slightly inflated by changes to registration practices in France that took effect in September.
