ITALY: New car registrations rise 27% year on year in March
New car registrations in Italy rose sharply in March, AFP reported, citing transport ministry figures. However, national car maker Fiat failed to claw back any of its lost market share. Registrations rose by 27.38% in March from the figure 12 months earlier to 269,800 new vehicles, the ministry said. In February, registrations had increased by 8% year on year.
