USA: New BMW Manufacturing Corp. President Named
Dr. Helmut Leube has been named president of BMW Manufacturing Corp., succeeding Dr. Norbert Reithofer, the company announced today. Dr. Leube, 47, began his career with BMW in 1987 as manager of engine production in the Munich plant. He has worked as manager of purchasing engineering, project manager for mid-size car division manufacturing and general manager of the engineering division in Assembly. In 1995, he was named Senior Vice President of corporate logistics and in 1998 assumed responsibility for integration of production engineering.
