JAPAN: Mitsubishi makes another recall
Mitsubishi will recall 1,000 Libero vehicles, to repair defective electrical wiring. This recall comes less than 3-weeks after being forced to recall 532,000 vehicles suspected of defects, which was enforced by government agency intervention. It was the largest recall in history, and is likely to cost £28.7m. All the Liberos concerned were made and sold in Japan. No accidents are attributed to the defect. The latest recall is unrelated to the measures announced last month.
