UK: MG Rover dusts off Vanden Plas badge for new LWB model
MG Rover has revived the famous London Vanden Plas coachbuilding badge for a new long-wheelbase version of the 75 executive saloon. The new model is not a factory-built model but is stretched 200mm by the specialist coachbuilders S MacNellie & Son. The LWB car is based on the top-specification 75 Connoisseur with 2.5-litre V6 and five-speed automatic transmission.
