USA: Metaldyne secures Ford SUV hub 'n' knuckle supply deal
Metaldyne has begun supplying rear knuckles and hubs for Ford 's redesigned 2003 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator sport-utility vehicles. Metaldyne ships a machined and assembled steel wheel hub to The Timken Company which assembles the hub and bearing unit and ships the assembly to Continental Teves where it is joined to a Metaldyne-made knuckle and sent on to Ford as a rear brake corner assembly.
