USA: March NHTSA recall announcements include BMW X5, Jaguar X-type, new Mitsubishi Outlander SUV
BMW will recall 84,000 X5 luxury sport utility vehicles to fix a possible brake fluid leak, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Thursday, Reuters reported. According to the news agency, NHTSA said the front brake line on X5s built between August 1999 and April 2002 could come loose, eventually causing a brake hose to rub against the tyre and leak.
