EXCLUSIVE: BRAZIL: March car production up 22.6% over February
Brazilian car production increased 22.6 percent in March compared with February, according to the Brazilian National Automakers' Association (Anfavea), writes Rogério Louro Alves. Last month, local vehicle makers produced 155,439 units, up from 126,755 in February. Total sales of locally made and imported models also grew to 132,829 in March, an increase of 19.4 percent over the 111,222 units sold in February.
