Auburn Hills, Michigan: DaimlerChrysler's Jeep division has confirmed that the all-new 2002 Jeep - which goes into production next spring and will be launched in the United States in the summer - will be named Liberty. The Liberty will be produced at DaimlerChrysler's new state-of-the-art Toledo (Ohio) North Assembly Plant, located across the street from the original plant where the company currently churns out Cherokees and Wranglers.
