EXCLUSIVE: UK: Jeep Liberty recall extends to export Cherokee versions
The Jeep Liberty recall announced by Chrysler earlier in the week apparently includes Cherokee-badged versions sold in export markets. DaimlerChrysler UK on Wednesday confirmed that it will voluntarily recall 7,000 right-hand drive Cherokees (model year 2002 and 2003) sold in the UK as a precautionary measure to add a protective shield to the front lower control arm ball joints.
