Subaru maker Fuji Heavy Industries group fiscal first quarter operating profit fell 52.9% year on year to JPY10.67bn after the 11 March earthquake and tsunami in Japan disrupted its vehicle production. But it booked a 48.7% net profit rise to JPY28.45bn thanks to a special profit of JPY26.1bn from selling its headquarters building in Tokyo.
