USA: Harley-Davidson Q4 and full year 2002 profits up
Harley-Davidson on Tuesday announced record revenue and earnings for its fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2002. Revenue for the quarter was $1.03 billion compared with $905.9 million in the year-ago quarter, a 13.3% increase. Net income for the quarter was $150.9 million, an increase of 27.5% over the year ago quarter. Fourth quarter diluted earnings per share (EPS) were 49 cents, a 25.6% increase compared with last year's 39 cents.
