GM has demanded that an independent vehicle maker withdraw its new 'extreme' utility vehicle (XUV) from the Chicago Auto Show, backing its demand with a trademark infringement lawsuit. GM says that the Avanti Studebaker XUV looks too much like its GM Hummer H2. GM trademark attorney Charles Ellerbrock said: "The Studebaker XUV is so similar to the H2 that the public will be confused by the knock off of the H2."
