General Motors' next Chevrolet Malibu will be built in two distinct versions, according to The Car Connection (TCC). The mid-sized sedan, a staple of rental and business fleets, is due for a complete revamp next year and TCC cites Gene Stefanyshyn, GM's mid-size passenger car vehicle line executive, as saying that the new one will be aimed at traditional "three-box sedan" buyers but the Fairfax, Kansas, plant also will be equipped to build an "extended version".
