Gentex Corporation (Nasdaq: GNTX - news), the Zeeland, Michigan-based manufacturer of automatic-dimming rearview mirrors and commercial fire protection products, today reported record financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2000. The Company reported a 10 percent increase in net income to $15.9 million, or 21 cents per share, on record third quarter revenues of $71.9 million for the period ended September 30, 2000. In the comparable 1999 quarter, the Company reported net income of $14.4 million, or 19 cents per share, on revenues of $64.1 million.
