BRAZIL: General Motors to invest US$1bil in its plants
For the next 3 years motor vehicles producer General Motors is to invest US$1bil in its 5 plants in Brazil.The announcement was made by its vice chairman Mr Jose Carlos Pinheiro Neto. This investment will involve company plants at Caetano do Sul, Jose dos Campos, Sorocaba, Mogi das Cruzes, all at Paulo state, and at Gravatai, Rio Grande do Sul state.
