RUSSIA: Foreign car brands on the up to locals' detriment - report
Sales of foreign cars in Russia are up 20% to 60% this year because the locals have more cash in their pockets and new financing options are available, the Moscow Times said on its website. Renault sales of 6,042 cars in the first nine months of the year were up 50% on the same period in 2001 while Audi posted a 40% rise to 2,250 vehicles, the report said.
