US: Ford cuts Mazda stake to just 3.5%

Ford says it will drop its stake in Mazda Motor Corporation to 3.5% from 11% with the deal expected to close tomorrow. (19 November).

General Motors' European unit has confirmed media reports earlier this week that Opel/Vauxhall plans extra shifts at its Ellesmere Port (England) and Gliwice (Poland) plants to meet high demand for the five-door Astra Sports Tourer wagon and five-door hatchback.
