Germany: EU car directive to be revised – paper.
A European Union group exemption directive that gives car manufacturers freedom to dictate to dealers what price cars are to be sold at alongside who these cars should be sold to is to be reviewed, say local media reports (2/8/00). German daily `Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung` cites a preliminary report from within the European Commission, to be discussed after the summer recess.
