MEXICO: Demand pleases Renault on return
Renault dealerships in Mexico City and Guadalajara will be officially opened this week, even though some of the French car maker's Scenic minivan models have already been sold, according to a report in Mexican financial daily El Economista. Patrice Ratti, who heads up Renault's local subsidiary, said the company received 122 orders in January and 177 in February, El Economista auto industry columnist Guillermo Lira reported.
