CHINA: Hyundai in heavy truck venture in China
Hyundai Motor has signed an agreement with China's Baotou Bei Ben Heavy-Duty Truck Company Ltd to establish a new medium and heavy truck joint venture in China in 2010. The new company, in which the two partners will each have a 50% stake, will take over Baotou Bein Ben's existing truck operations, which have a combined production capacity of 40,000 units per year.
