BRAZIL: DaimlerChrysler has high hopes for new export model - report
DaimlerChrysler has big plans for the new Mercedes-Benz model it will start building two years from now in Brazil, Dow Jones Newswires reported. The German-US car maker aims to eventually produce up to 60,000 units per year of the new model, expected to look like something between a compact sports utility vehicle and a larger version of the new Forfour model from Mercedes' compact Smart line, the report said.
