INDIA: Daimler helicopters in potential buyers
Daimler's Mercedes-Benz has built a helipad in the grounds of its Pune assembly plant to fly in potential AMG sports brand buyers.
The Economic Times of India said the automaker hosts the high rollers in a specially built arena in which a wide range of cars can be displayed.
Mercedes has sold around 200 AMGs since launching the enhanced performance variations of its cars in India around three years ago.
"It's a small target group but growing We see a rising demand for highy performance cars in India," MD Eberhard Kern said.
The innovation is starting with potential buyers from Mumbai but will add other cities later.
